Netflix’s second Chinese-language original series, Triad Princess, is a romantic comedy written by a team of screenwriters led by renowned author, screenwriter, and director Fujii Shu (real name Wu Tzu-Yun).

The story follows Angie (played by Eugenie Liu), a young woman who has grown up under the protection of her triad boss father. Despite her sweet appearance, she has a fierce and fearless personality. Determined to get close to her idol, the popular superstar Xu Yi-Hang (played by Jasper Liu), she disregards her father’s objections and takes on the role of a personal bodyguard for Ling Yun, the actress caught in a rumored relationship with Xu Yi-Hang. Little does she know, this decision will lead to unexpected twists in both her career and her love life.
