🥋 Kung Fu 🤚 〖 Kung Fu Mastery Project 〗Part 1 

This time, we handled the full VFX production for Kung Fu,
from early storyboard design to building the digital world in post-production.
 

Here’s a behind-the-scenes “secret manual” we’ve carefully prepared for you.
 

The Kung Fu Mastery Project pays tribute to the film’s “National Guardian Human Shield Program,”
extending the concept of hypnosis—
VFX is a form of hypnosis, and we are the ones who push it to the extreme.
 

The biggest challenge in Kung Fu was grounding surreal martial arts in real-world environments:
deserts, oceans, water, fire, explosions, smoke, airflow, destruction, energy impacts—
almost every type of visual effect you can imagine, all happening at once.
 

The boss-level “Lightness Skill Chase” is a fully CG sequence,
recreating Taiwanese street scenes, chaotic signboards, and detailed character props.
 

The “Underwater Training” required simultaneous simulation of environments, water flow,
cloth, hair, and bubbles.
 

In the “Underground Arena,” the blue-and-gold sword energy had to seamlessly integrate with live-action footage.

The “Drug Factory” features CG characters performing high-difficulty action sequences.

On the “Rooftop Training” scene: intense energy bursts, venom effects, exploding shoes,
and the master blasting apart Yuan’s wall of books.
 

Leading up to the finale of Part 1—
the “Master vs. Disciple Showdown” on the newsroom rooftop—
where FX paper tornadoes and fire tornadoes collide head-on.
 

Every scene balances realism and stylization,
each process layered with vivid light and motion.
 

When the screen lights up,
what you see isn’t VFX—
it’s Kung Fu, brought to life.

〖 功夫煉成計畫 〗向電影中「#護國人盾計畫」致敬， 延續催眠的概念，
視覺特效，就是一種催眠術；而我們，就是把催眠練到極致的那群山羊。

《功夫》最大挑戰是讓超現實武功落實在現實場景： 沙漠、海、水、火、爆炸、 煙霧、氣流、碎裂、能量衝擊，
幾乎所有能想到的特效類型，全部同時上場！

魔王級的「#輕功追逐戰」是全 CG 場面， 台灣街景、雜亂招牌與角色配件完整呈現；
#海底練功 同時處理場景、水流、布料、 頭髮與氣泡模擬；
#地下格鬥場 藍金的劍氣，需要與實拍精準銜接；
#製毒工廠 CG 角色完成高難度動作； #天台練功 劇烈氣勁、蛇毒、爆鞋 與師傅炸掉淵仔的書牆；
到上篇最後#報社天台 的「師徒對決」，FX紙龍捲與火龍捲的視效對轟；

x每場戲在現實感與戲劇間拉扯，每個過程都是斑斕光影。

螢幕亮起，你看到的不是特效，而是真正的《功夫》。
